FUN GIFT EXCHANGE INFORMATION FOR DECEMBER 16TH, 2019

It's finally here! Time to do our "Star Quilt".

October 28th., is the first day of our Star Quilt.  Please bring your five fabrics, your pattern, and your background fabric.  As this will be on going for three Mondays in a row, if we need the time, I will ask that you bring your fabrics for the two borders next week.

In addition, we need a cutting board that has the 45 degrees on it, and I know we have a couple at the church, but if you would like to bring your own, you are more than welcome.

We will be starting the quilt at 10 am., as I have a Chiropractor appointment, so you will have time to get your stuff organized.

Also bring all your sewing supplies like pins, markers (both dark and light), rotary cutter, rulers, paper to mark your fabric after cutting, etc, etc.  If you do not have markers, I will have both with me.

I am also attaching another copy of the pattern in case any of you have lost yours.

The thing to keep in mind here, is that this pattern is not difficult, however, it takes time to make sure the matching is correct in order to have a great looking star.  What I am trying to say is, this is not a pattern that can be rushed.  If you are a fast sewer and think you will spare time, please bring something else to work on.

I will be working right along with everyone on my own.

Last, but not least, I now have the Christmas gift list of the five items for distribution on December 16th, which gives you lots of time to hunt the dollar stores, or your own home.  Hopefully, everyone participates because it is a lot of fun......

JUST A REMINDER!

Next Quilting Date is Monday October 28th, 2019,  LONE STAR  START DATE !!

Dorris Reminds us to only pick out our fabric and not do any cutting.  Dorris will be working right along with us.  Should be fun.  No fuss, no muss, no stress!!

Date & Venue Changes.

Sewing this Friday, October 4th, Mood Creek  Club House from 9 to 3 with Lorae.

1.     Venue Change:  Reservations for lunch with Lorae have been made for approx. 12 people at the Station Pub for Monday, October 7^th.  Reservations are under Dorris Frose.

2.     Monday, October 14^th, Quilting is CANCELLED AT MOOD CREEK, Christina Lake. 

3.    Square One will have Quilting for 3 consecutive Mondays, beginning Monday Oct 28^th, Monday, Nov 4 and Monday, Nov 18^th.

4.    Christmas Luncheon for Square One Quilters – New Date, Changed from Dec 23^rd to December 16^th, 2019,  at12 Noon at Chopsticks.

5.    Quilting Fees for 2020 will remain the same $55.00 per person for the year.  Fees payable by December 31, 2019.

 And also on October 28th, is the starting date for the Lone Star Class at the Church Hall.
