During the wind-up of last season the group discussed projects that the membership might be interest in.
In you are interested in any of those projects below and need fabric requirements let Dorris know.
We won't be starting any of the project until those members who have been away and return from their winter vacation.

Barb's Hummingbird appliqued wall-hanging.
Beautiful Barb, you colour selection is so nice.
Sally pieced this project from the colour's that her grand-daughter Alexa chose when she was 2 years old.
Alexa is now in her final year at University, and will be graduating as an Engineer this year.
Creating an Art
quilt covers many aspects, such as – landscapes, portraiture, graphic,
abstract, modernist etc etc etc.
“An art quilt
is an original exploration of a concept or idea rather than the handing down of
a “pattern”. It experiments with textile manipulation, colour, texture and/or a
diversity of mixed media. It has been said that an "An Art Quilt"
often pushes the quilt world boundaries”.

Remember the technique that Dorris demonstrated using adding machine tape measuring 3" as a backing for her strips.
