Note Re - Poinsettia Class
For Monday, December 13th, for those people who are doing the twisted poinsettia to bring a pencil, ruler, and eraser and Dorris will bring the tracing paper .
and, we are planning on coming back to the hall after lunch, will probably just sit around and visit for a while so bring any hand work that you might want to work on.
Willy T. sent this commemoration piece on the event and appearance of Julie Andrews on her 85th Birthdays.
To commemorate her birthday, actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP.
One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used:
*Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,*
*Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,*
*Bundles of magazines tied up in string,*

*Cadillacs and cataracts,* *hearing aids and glasses,*
*Polydent and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,*
